Tarot Original 1909 Circular Deck

The Tarot Original 1909 is Lo Scarabeo's careful reproduction of the original Arthur Edward Waite and Pamela Colman Smith deck as it appeared in its first 1909 edition. This circular version reimagines that classic in a format that changes how the cards move and relate to each other in a spread. The round shape removes the fixed orientation of rectangular cards, opening up new ways to think about how images face each other and what directions mean.

Measuring approximately 4.25 inches in diameter, the 78 circular cards come with a guidebook by Sasha Graham that offers spreads and approaches specifically designed for working with this unusual format. The same warm coloring and matte finish of the standard 1909 edition are preserved here.
