The Sufi Tarot is the first deck to bring Sufi wisdom and the tarot's archetypal framework into genuine conversation, creating a tool for self-reflection that draws on both the Western divinatory tradition and the inward-turning practice at the heart of Sufism. Often described as the path to the heart, Sufism understands spiritual development as a process of purifying and opening the inner life, and the tarot's Fool's Journey maps onto this understanding with remarkable precision.
The deck recasts the familiar archetypes as Sufi concepts and figures, offering readers a new lens on the classic symbolic material. The underlying questions both systems ask are the same: Why are we here? What do our feelings and patterns tell us about ourselves? What is our purpose? This East-meets-West combination makes the deck genuinely distinctive and particularly useful for anyone drawn to meditation, contemplative practice, or spiritual inquiry.
