Universal Waite Tarot Deck

Artist Mary Hanson-Roberts took Pamela Colman Smith's original line drawings from the 1909 Rider-Waite deck and applied a new, carefully considered palette that changes the experience of working with the imagery significantly. The rich symbolism and the familiar compositions remain entirely intact, but Hanson-Roberts' softer, more harmonious color choices bring out a quality in the cards that the original coloring sometimes obscures. The result is a deck that works equally well for divination and for meditation practice.
