Tarot Nuages

Tarot Nuages takes place in the cloud-top town of Nuages, a place with its own folklore, population, and rules entirely separate from our world. The Minor Arcana fills the suits with goblins, penguins, pixies, gargoyles, and animated mushrooms going about their strange business, while the Major Arcana presents a cast of powerful personalities and quasi-divine figures guiding seekers through the bigger questions. The whole thing tips its hat to the Marseille tradition while embracing something far more playful and surreal.

This 79-card deck includes one extra card beyond the traditional count, and comes with a 64-page booklet. The self-taught artist Gniedmann works primarily in watercolors and ink, with a dotwork sensibility that gives the imagery a pop-surrealist energy hovering between dark fantasy and outright whimsy.
