TAROT by Joseph Feautrier  Marseilles 1762, France

Joseph Feautrier engraved his tarot deck in Marseille in 1762, beginning his career as a card maker in Bordeaux in 1745. Until recently only two incomplete copies of this deck were known, one at the Musee du Vieux Marseille and one at the Bibliotheque nationale de France. A third copy, the only complete one in existence, was then identified in the collection of Vincenzo Capuano at the Museo del Giocattolo in Naples. This Tarot de Marseille Heritage facsimile is the first reproduction of this deck to be made available to the public. Limited to 1,500 copies.
