Jean-Pierre Laurent made this tarot in 1735 near the border of France, Switzerland, and Germany, and it exists in both a Marseille form with the Papess and Pope and a Besançon form with Juno and Jupiter in their place. This Tarot de Marseille Heritage facsimile is the first reproduction to preserve the original card size and back design. Based on a private collection copy, it is limited to 1,500 copies.
