TAROT by Jacques Burdel  Fribourg 1813, Switzerland

Jacques Burdel was the last member of a distinguished card-making family that Claude Burdel had established in Fribourg, Switzerland. It is believed that his father and grandfather contributed to this tarot, and that the engraving was carried out by the well-regarded engraver Jean Proche.
