Oswald Wirth originally produced only a set of Major Arcana, each card carrying the corresponding Hebrew letter based on his support for Eliphas Levi's theory connecting the 22 letters to the 22 trump cards. The Symbolic Tarot of Wirth completes what Wirth began, adding a carefully researched Minor Arcana that rounds out his occult system of Tetrads. The full 78-card deck is printed in five colors, the fifth being a golden hue that gives the artwork a genuinely distinctive visual quality. It is a deck for both serious readers and those who collect for historical and aesthetic reasons.
