Federico Salis brings a graphic designer's precision to a deck that otherwise has no interest in playing it safe. Bold characters, flamboyant color, and nods to pop culture and queer aesthetics give the Supernova Tarot a personality all its own, while the traditional 78-card structure keeps it grounded in the tarot framework. Alice Mastroleo, who reads tarot and teaches cartomancy, brought the divinatory perspective to the project.

Alice Mastroleo is an Italian tarot reader and teacher of cartomancy, known for her focus on symbolic and esoteric traditions. Federico Salis is a graphic designer and illustrator who graduated from the University of the Arts London. His practice spans traditional and digital illustration, animation, and motion graphics, and his influences include music, cinema, television, and pop culture.
